Other duties maybe assigned.1. Followestablished performance standards and perform duties according to nursingservice policies and procedures.2. Providedirect resident care including: bathing, grooming and toileting.3. Responsibleto give tub baths, showers or bed baths to assigned residents.4. Turnand reposition all residents per plan of care.Maintain range of motion on all assigned residents.5. Obtainresident vital signs including temperature, Blood Pressure and Pulse at thedirection of the licensed nurse.6. Transportresidents to dining area and assist in feeding residents.7. Useproper body mechanics when transferring and transporting residents. Proper useof transfer belts are required.Mechanical lifts as indicated on the resident s plan of care.8. Maintainthe cleanliness of resident's rooms, tables and nightstands. Changes bed linenas needed and on bath days.9. Responsibleto conduct resident rounds, as indicated on Resident s plan of care, and beforeeach shift change and as needed.10. Responsibleto respond to all call lights, and porch egresses alarm on the assigned nursingunit.11. Participatein the care planning process and perform nurse-assisted duties as documented onthe resident plan of care.12. Reportresident problems, condition changes or incidents to the Charge Nurse.13. Documentincidents and/or unusual problems according to facility procedures.14. Maintainresident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect;know and comply with all Resident's Rights rules; and promptly report allresident accidents and injuries to charge nurse.15. Documentin the nursing assistant electronic charting the care and treatment provided tothe resident and the resident's response or lack of response to care provided.16. Responsibleto observe and follow infection control and safety policies and procedures.17. Attendand complete scheduled in-service, Relias training courses, classes and wardconferences as required.18. Maintainall certification requirements for the state of Michigan, must be current onthe state registry for CNA's.19. Beavailable for hours of work beyond their normally scheduled shift.20. Musthave regularly and timely attendance.21.
